Title: Erratic Theatre (no longer on site)

Artist: Lisa Neighbour   Exhibition year: 2008

"Up on the rocks, we wander like shipwrecked sailors. There is something spooky about this solid-liquid, a deceitful quality that conjures up shapes and shadows. I'd like to bring on the hallucinations, to emphasize the mirage-inducing quality of this place. The installation 'Erratic Theatre' absorbs energy and then hovers between the real and the projected."

Lisa Neighbour was born in Montreal, Quebec and now lives and works in Toronto, Ontario. She exhibits with Persona Volare, (a collective of Toronto-based installation and media artists) and is represented in Toronto by Katharine Mulherin. Her interests range from print media and mixed media works, to installation sculpture, electricity, knots and divination.
