A Gathering of Quivers is a site specific installation of bamboo and copper quivers suspended vertically among trees, horizontally between trees, stretched on top of and suspended over large rocks and lichen beds. The primary intention is create a group of shape changing objects that blend into the surroundings in a way that implies a historical presence in the environment. when visiting the site these are works that you need to look for as they blend into the landscape.

Barry Prophet is a composer (percussion and electro-acoustic) and sculptor whose work has appeared in galleries and theatres in Canada, United States and Europe since 1979. Barry has led traditional and experimental percussion programs for students and educators across Canada since 1983 and founded the Music Gallery Institute in 2001.
